Last season the Astros won the final 7 road finales of the regular season and then they went 3-0 in the final road game of each of their playoff series, a run of excellence that was punctuated by their huge Game 5 win in the World Series over the Phillies. That means the Astros are 32-5 in the final road game of a series stretching back to 8/17/22.
If this score holds up, I will put my money on Astros gm 6 that this series will go 7, and in gm 7 I will sit out for sure. I dont' think it was purposeful but completely agree. I do like Garcia though as he is on my dynasty team which won the trophy this year.
A clutch homerun against one of the greatest pitchers of all time... it's hard not to celebrate, but you have to expect the retaliation. Granted in the playoffs maybe you wouldn't expect it as much as a regular season game. If the Rangers were going to win another game this was the spot since they were statistically the best day time hitting teams in regular season. Unfortunately I think this will be the last day game of the playoffs.
