The last 2 days haven't been for the faint of heart. With MLB though, I'll take the wins any way they're delivered.
Not a lot of time today, so quick summary on why I like this spot for Detroit:
You have bad team in Toronto (I think it's time to call a spade a spade) feeling good about themselves after taking 2 of 3 from the minor league White Sox. Even after scoring 18 runs vs Chicago, they still have a -38 run differential and are in last place, 10.5 games back in the East. Now they take a step up in class to face the Tigers and a pitcher that they have a very poor history vs.
On the other side, you have the Tigers coming off a 4 game losing streak. However, it came on the road vs a very good and red hot KC team. Detroit will be taking a step down in class and will look to one of their Aces to stop the bleeding. Given his past dominance over Toronto and the way he's looked all season, I like the Tiger's chances of pulling off a win today. Flaherty is also on a one year 14 million dollar contract. He'll be pitching all season for a big payday. Keep an eye on him.
Gausman is a decent pitcher and could keep it close for the 1st 5. His career numbers vs Detroit aren't great, but not horrible either. If he can keep em in it, Toronto's pen is no match for Detroit. Toronto ranks in the bottom 10 while Detroit sits in the top 10.
I'm not fooled by Toronto beating up on the White Sox nor Detroit facing KC at the wrong time. I think the better team wins this game and in my humble opinion, the pitching will be the difference.
I'm on the Tigers at -108 for 15 units.
Cheers and BOL to everyone
Tied up for a bit. Will stop by later if anyone has questions/comments.

I decided to increase this play to 16 units. I've been getting into the +50 units and find myself getting knocked back down. So, I'm gonna skip the 50's and get right to the +60's with a win tonight. Psychologically it makes me feel better Unfortunately, I lost -108 at my shops.
Updated Official Plays: Detroit ML for 15 units at -108 and 1 unit at -110.
