volquez may be in the process of hitting the wall as he is up to 138 ip now, 100 ip more then he has ever thrown in the majors, but why give him a rest dusty, run him into the ground. he has given up 30 hits and 15 er in his last 4 starts. the reds lineup just got worse with dunn leaving town. i wonder if the yankees wish they had karstens back. all he has done has pitched 15 scoreless innings for the pirates. pitt 5 cincy 3

waiting on the texas line, zink for boston will be pitching on 3 days rest against a texas team who looked much better with bradley back in the lineup sunday.

agree that Volquez is a dead play against and agree w/ the play but Karstens is a hump who will crash to earth sooner rather than later, hope you get one more out of him. GL
