OK Gents...On to bet 2 in 3 series today....Bullpens in KC and Minn let us down....

KC  +105   400 to win 420....BET 2

BREW-CREW  -125   500 to win 400 (thought they would be a fav here) 

TWINS  +170   400 to win 680...BET 2  (Hope Sherzy continues recent struggles)

Are you really going to bet the Twins today?  I have no confidence in the Twins at this point.  Baker got lit up last time out vs Det. and Porcello pitched pretty well. I think I'm going to fade and take a small profit into the next series. BOL.

 RECORD FOR WEEK 6  so far 4-0  +275...Twins bullpen killing us...have blown late leads in both games.   This is when it takes guts to stick with your original feeling that the Twinkies will not get swept.

I am going to wait because I think the public will bet this to over +150 today.  I will pull the trirgger at +150.

I am going to play the twins but smaller than the 800 in a normal situation. 

TWINS  +150....500 to win 750...BET 3.

No one siad this was going to be easy!  If they win , I still turn a +150 on the Twinkies.    GL

Not a bad idea, but, I did that a lot last year and missed out on some good pay days.  I am playing with house money now and I will stay somewhat true to my format.

Well, I should have listened to C Magee, you were right.

 

WEEK 6,   4-1,  -225.

Ok, on to today were we have some four gamers starting today.  I will play 2 series but stop my wagering if they do not win after 3.

RAYS +105   300 to win 315

RANGERS +110   300 to win 330

Thanks for giving me credit, but I believe in this system.  I just thought you can only do so much preparing for the series, and after the Twins kept coughing up leads, my gut said they were likely to be swept as a large dog in game 3.  I loved the Orioles last weekend. It was my favorite series of the weekend and so I opted to play it and we lost.  It just didnt work out.  I think there are plenty of good resources on this site so the info combined with my gut feeling lead me to fade game 3.  I'm going to continue to tail and I feel we are going to continue to stay on this great run that you started.  BOL to all at Covers and everyone tailing this thread.

Even with the Twins getting swept I am still up...I actually rode them thru last night in hopes they wouldn't extend there streak...Might not of been a smart bet but got good results..Keep em coming...

I want to take a stab at this system this weekend. I'm going to play off these four series, as they seem like a good chance at avoiding sweeps. I like the idea here. Will play it exactly as semperfi would, 1 unit initially, 2 units the next game if the first game loses, 4 units if that loses.

LAD/CIN - Kuroda/Arroyo, Kershaw/Cueto, Billingsley/Wood

MIL/FLA - Wolf/Nolasco, Gallardo/Volstad, Narveson/Sanchez

TOR/BAL - Villanueva/Britton, Romero/Arrieta, Reyes/Guthrie

COL/SF - Nicasio/Cain, Chacin/Bumgarner, Hammel/Vogelsong
