One Last thing I like the situation, I had NYY game one than bet overs. But today I think the World Champions will play for pride and not lose at home.

Sabathia was -145 in Game 1 against Wilson on the road...with the sense of urgency theory and now at home in Yankee Stadium, what did you expect the line to be? So in effect, today's line is saying that Texas' home field at the Yanks home field are worth only 7.5 cents each to make this line -160. In a way, books have adjusted in my opinion towards Texas. Let me ask you this. If game 1 was Wilson vs. Sabathia at Yankee Stadium, what do you think the line would have been. I am guessing 180 to 185 based upon the fact that it was 145 on the road.

dude ive read some of your posts and you sound like a homer yankee fan. It sounds like you are trying to drum up anything to make yourself feel better. I do hope you are right and CC dominates today and we go back to Texas, but Ive heard guys like you before and its old news

One thing Game Hunter is that The book has to take into account that CC is just not the same pitcher with all that rest. The line would most likely be -170 if CC was at home for game one. who's to say that he does not pitch better at home. I know it is the playoffs but in the Reg season a line this high -140 above -165 won more than not. Now the Yanks are on the brink and Vegas set the line at -165 with Tex out. If Vegas thought Tex wins they would put this at pick em, being so high leads me to feel they think CC goes 8 gives ball to rested Rivera. To me that what this lines says. Yanks fav in other game b/c public team

that would be brilliant, they are already holding a shit load of yankees series bets,  the world would be on cc at home as a pick-em (btw this is  a game the yankees can very easily win) and then they would be standing there with their jock in their hand. lines arent based on who vegas thinks is going to win

I don't even post most of my plays Rangerz go watch your lame ass hockey. 80% come on I admit i was wrong on Lee best mlb pitcher in playoff history did not see that coming like you like in 07 with the tribe he was not on the playoff roster maybe that fuels the fire. What else you got with 5 million losing posts I don't  see your record or plays just some fat ass loser sitting on covers who does not even gamble.

vegas doesn't set the line on these types of things. you're creating stories to justify your side...human.

I heard that Texas won't even have champaign or ginger ale to celebrate today because they don't want to win on the road, they want to wait to get home.  GET FUCKING REAL.  Didn't the Yankees come back from a 5-0 hole in game 1.  If Texas wants to go to the WS they can't play around with the Yankees, they need to try to win every game.  Notice how the Yankees couldn't hit those lefty relievers last night, same happens today and Texas wins a low scoring afair.  If anything Vegas wants everyone to play the over.

I have to bump this.  I don't care of TX loses by 30, it was a bad line IMO. 

Vegas made NE a 13 point fav against the Giants and they lost SU.  They made the Rams the same Fav against NE and they lost.  They made the Rams the same Fav against TN and they never came close to covering.

If Vegas is trying to trick you, they do a terrible job over time.  If they were that smart, they would take your money every time.

The UMPs in these playoff games really aid a Pitcher. Even thou I won Wilson didn't get the same strike zone as in Texas. Certainly aided CC Some of these missed strike calls really change the outcome of these games.
