Very dissapointed with 5 Dimes, anyone have suggestions?? (Giants/Mets from Sunday Night)

This is bullshit.  You accept a bet, you HONOR it.  Don't take bets if you won't payout on them.

What happens when you place a bet but took the wrong team or wrong side on a total?  They tell you bet the opposite of what you chose so you minimize your loss.

What they should do is pay you out based on what the line SHOULD have been.  But nooo that would be too logical, and books can't have that.

I have been with 5dimes since 1999 and i noticed they have been doing this sort of thing lately more and more. It happened twice with soccer bets in the last 2 weeks. I had Costa Rica at halftime last week at Pk +259 and they cancelled midway thru the 2nd half after CR scored a goal. They came back and said line should have been +159. The thing is though line even rose higher from +259 i had it at and saw it at +274 i believe. Their line guy on halftimes and livebetting is all over the map.

Only VEGAS casinos are required by law to honor all posted wagers, even if they made a mistake on the posted line.  5Dimes is not a Vegas casino, and it was obviously a 'mistake' on their part.  I understand it's upsetting since you won the bet, but it was a mistake by them to post that number and odds, thus they're able to retract the wager...

I'm not a customer to 5 dimes but this sort of BS has happened to me 3 times, and all were with local books.  To make my story short the 1st time my local book honored (so far the best local book I've used, but no longer have an acct with them).  2nd time it was cancelled I tried to argue but the book didn't even want to hear it (ended up changing to another book).  3rd time, my bet was cancelled but this time I was really pissed and didn't just argued but also threaten the book someway.  The book finally paid out that cancelled bet 2 weeks after. 

I would suggest you speaking to someone in the upper management at 5 dimes.  Maybe they would help you out.  But to my experience it's really up to the books if they want to pay you on that bet. 

GL, hope 5 dimes would end up paying you.

You can cry and bitch about it all you want but you are not going to win, so you are better off just forgetting it and continue to use them or move on to another book.

2: site is legal
You can bitch about or threaten all you want they don't give a fuck....they can pay you just a bet, no problem. their goal is trying to keep you in the game until your run out!!!! Another thing happened to me with 5dimes, I bet 1st 5innings and won, but I didn't get graded until the end of game... I think ur goal is forget it...and trying to hit them to the curve with ur winnings

Funny that you say that...

One time I bet a bad line (knowing it was faulty) but it ended up not looking great during whatever game it was... so i went to live chat and alerted them to the line, etc.  I don't know if its b/c of that but I have been treated amazing by them and even once accidentally bet a 2011 Golf majors prop instead of a prop for the masters and 5dimes cancelled the bet for me :D
