Very Nice Team Total Situation Today

Chicago Cubs Team Total OVER 3.5 Runs (-120)   LARGE

The wind is blowing in today at about 11 mph, but in this match-up that does not concern me and as we find out so many times, by 7:40pm tonight the wind direction in the WINDY CITY could change and it could be blowing out at 11 mph.

The Cubs bats have been pretty steady lately against much better Pitchers.  In their past 8 games the Cub have exceeded this total of 3.5 runs in every game scoring 6,4,5,8,5,6,5 and 4 runs.  This is an average of 5.37 runs per game.

Today, they face a very below average pitcher in Griffin Jax.  In the last 6 games that Jax has started, he has given up 5,4,4,6,9 and 4 runs all by himself in an average of 5.6 innings per game. In those 6 games started by Jax, the opponents scored a total of 44 runs or an average of 7.33 runs.

Wind has picked up slightly to about 12 mph, but still almost 3 hours until game time and with 40% chance of rain, wind could reverse directions or stop altogether with a front moving through.

The Cubs will not need HR's to get this total as Griffin Jax gives up a lot of hits and a few walks to put men on base and in scoring position.

Story of my god damn summer.  Can’t get a single base hit in a meaningful situation.  Bases loaded twice already and the dip shi ts strike out both times.
