I know the Giants have the momentum, but I really believe the Reds find a way to get it done today. It will likely be a one-run affair, but I'll gladly risk -122 here.

The three biggest things to win in the playoffs.. Confidence, Heart, and Momentum.. the Reds currently have none of these.

Momentum can change in an instant this bunch is plenty confident. You don't win 97 games, without heart. Your assessment is completely absurd.

Giants have the bats, momentum, confidence, better pitcher heading into this game.  I'll gladly take the + odds.

Okay fellas, but like I said I follow this team closely and they will find a way today. You gotta do what you gotta due. Maybe you'll get it back on the later games.

BoL to you RP.  I'll be in and out of this thread during the game, whether it be to gloat or accept defeat.  I'm not making this a large play, just really like the Giants at + odds in this spot.

You guys make great points on both sides.  Die hard Giants fan, just going to enjoy the game. The Reds have beat Cain both times this year.  Bruce and Ludwick hit him well but I have this feeling like I did in 2010....Go Giants!!

Dusty Baker blew it with the Giants in 2002, and in the playoff with the Cubs, Reds, and hoping for one more time.

I was hoping Bochy would start Arias over Crawford, he'll make the change if Crawford's not hitting

I agree 100%.. giants heart, confidence and momentum skyrocketed after game 3 win. Im on Giants BIG as well as the A's tonight

Same to you Duke. I'll try not to "gloat" too much. It's just bad policy. But if I'm wrong, then I'll will humbly accept defeat. Should be a great game. And you are right, this is not a "large" play spot. Both of these pitchers are too good to fade. First team to get to three runs will probably win it.

Die Hard Reds fan here. I like where your heads at RP. The Reds are streaky and if they can hit half way decent today, I think they'll win.

Sherlock. Appreciate the info, but the giants confidence skyrocketed after yesterday. They should have never won game 3. Dusty, Brandon Phillips and Rolen all made huge mistakes.
BP trying to steal 2 bases in the first was idiotic.
Dusty pulling Chapman after the 9th was downright even dumber than Phillips bonehead move.
Rolen made an error on a routine play for him.

People's short term memories make me laugh. Giants easily won yesterday....great game on their part, but giants backers are forgetting how we stomped them without our ace on Saturday and then beat them even worse Sunday.

It should be a good game, but the Reds are the better team here and this series would be over if it weren't for some stupid moves.

You heard it here first, Latos is going to crumble and leave all of the Red's fans wondering how they were so close to clinching but let the series get away.  After a sputtering offense put up big numbers in Game 1 and 2 you wanna talk about how you rolled up the Giants but then say Game 3 was lost due to bonehead mistakes? 

Games 1 and 2 were an aberration if anything.  This will be a close game but in the end "torture" baseball will prevail.

Budget, you could be right, but the Reds lost 8 - 3 yesterday with a starting pitcher (Leake) that wasn't supposed to be in the rotation.

The Reds beat Caine the other day with 4 innings from Latos and their bullpen.

And game 3 was lost due to bonehead mistakes. The Giants scored a run without a hit which is the only run that lead to extra innings. Had Phillips not attempted stealing 3rd, the Reds would've scored 3 in the first. Tell me I'm lying.

SF has played terrible at home all year, that's nothing new.  They don't hit in their own ballpark.

Dusty Baker is a pretty bad manager, imo.. he's always been able to get away with the talent he has, but when he actually has to MANAGE then it's a whole different story.  Let's see what he has up his sleeve today.

Dusty drives me crazy with some of the moves he makes, but the Reds are 31-21 in one-run games. His managing in Game 1 of the series when Cueto went down was outstanding. Dusty will manage this close to the vest today. Latos has been money for the most part in the second half of the season and the Reds have the best bullpen in baseball.

Games are won in the playoffs off bonehead mistakes.  Can't fault the Giants for not making these mistakes.  Teams with experience in the playoffs ont make them as much and prevail.  On paper the Reds are the better team from a statistical standpoint, but that goes out the door in the playoffs.

dusty baker is not a bad manager, if he was managing the houston disastros they would probably have won 90 games.  hes had bad luck a la steve bartman.

Gand Salami.  I hate calling things over in the 5th inning.  But the way Cain is dealing it might be next to impossible to come back from 6-0.  We'll see.
