Texas -130 I like the Rangers to win this series and that would require a strong performance out of Kevin Millwood today. I have held out for the Twins for weeks now, but the fact of the matter is that they suck. They are 5-12 in their last 17 and they have been one of the worst road teams in the league. Scott Baker has had all kinds of trouble this season and he is just 1-8 as an underdog (1-7 as a road dog). Kevin Millwood is 21-8 in his last 29 home starts, and facing a Twins lineup likely sans Justin Morneau I like him to get another 'W'.

Check this out, in 2007 Millwood pitched 172 innings and gave up a staggering 213 hits with an ERA over 5. In 2008, 168 innings, 220 hits ERA again over 5. 2009 so far, 149 innings pitched, only 143 hits ERA 3.31, 7-1 @ home,2.46 ERA.

Most long haul guys will say 2-3% of your bank roll. The whole thing about it being a marathon not a sprint.
Really depends on your personal goals? If you're strictly tailing a capper then it different because when their go on a cold run for say 3-5 days you'll quickly loose confidence. If you're looking to make large amounts quickly obviously you won't do that risking 2-3% of your bankroll. You will have to risk at least 10% and when you win double on a game or two to build it fast.
But if you're here to enjoy the season and slowly make say $1000 over a month or even two, then bet less then 5%.
