good chance for the rays bats to get back on track against ponson. he gets himself in trouble, 7 walks in just 11 innings with the yankees. tampa bay already hit him once this year when he was with texas, and ponson has a career 5 era at yankee stadium. jackson has been pitching pretty well.
MARLINS/PADRES OVER 8.5 -110 3 UNITS
dont usually like overs in day games but these teams are 4-1 over this year. scott olsen's last 3 starts have averaged 17 runs and joe west behind the plate is averaging 11 runs a game.
MINNESOTA TWINS +220 1 UNIT
last year the twins beat beckett at fenway 5-4 as a +225 dog. maybe history will repeat itself. the twins are 13-6 in livan's starts this year.
