5-2 yesterday. I'm also just realizing I didn't change the day in the headline yesterday. Sometimes I smoke pot, sue me.
*I'd be shocked if the Cardinals/Angles play today. Severe weather in the area until 4ish CST.
Rangers/Reds Under 8.5 -112
It's gonna be a breezy one in Cincy today. 20mph winds in from right apparently, and possible rain towards the end of the game. Leiter pitched great in his season debut against Boston going 5 strong only give up one run, and Green struck out 8 over his 5 vs SF while only giving up 2 ER. Rangers are averaging under 3 runs scored/game thus far.
Royals/Brewers Under 7.5 -108
Ragans wasn't super sharp in his first start of the year, but he wasn't bad by any means. Same goes for Peralta. He struck out 8 Yankees and MIL held that offense to 4 runs. Lefty on the mound also forces Yelich to the bench for at least the early innings. Turang and Frelick are the only guys in MIL hitting so far, and that isn't gonna cut it for me.
Cubs/A's Over 8.5 +100
Sacramentos stadium seems to be a launching pad thus far, yielding 32 runs in it's first two games, so I'm gonna bet the over until it doesn't hit in games played in this park. Cubs certainly have the firepower to do most of the heavy lifting, although Springs was great in his season debut. Taillon on the other hand, got banged up by AZ last time out, and I just don't think he's very good.
Waiting on line up for late afternoon games. GL everyone

This offense is really humming coming out of the gate. Not a ton of HRs but have the 3rd most hits in the league so far. Cease wasn't his Cy Young caliber-self in his debut, but still good enough to back against a limited Cleveland offense. It is getaway day for an undefeated team which is kind of worrisome, but I have faith in the bats and Cease to take care of business.
Boston Red Sox -120
This is the spot you traded for Crotchet for. The stopper of losing streaks. I'm really high on the O's, but I'm not dumb. The Sox bats will be able to get enough off Eflin, Devers is 6-16 with 2 HRs off him, and Crochet progresses off his ok opening start.
D'Backs/Yankees Over 8 +100
Seems like a pretty small number given how many boppers are expected to play in this one, how average Gallen looked his last start, and last year really, and the ballpark this game is being played in. Wind is in from left, but that hasn't stopped them smashing balls with these torpedo bats. No reason to think this one stays under 10.
Braves/Dodgers Over 8 -118
Nearly the same sentiments as the above game. Just playing the numbers here with how much power these two teams have in their lineups. Elder got hammered by a "mehhh" Brewers lineup, so I can only imagine what this all star team does to him. May not even need the Braves bats in this one, but they will wake up sooner or later.
Good luck today everyone. Off to a good start.
