Orioles have the bases loaded with 1 out and the O's skipper makes a pinch hit sub for his STARTING center fielder hitting .251 with 16 homers and replaces him with a rookie who's 0-9 with 5 strikeouts in his MLB career so far. Kid strikes out, of course. Then a weak ground out and inning over. The O's also sent in their ace closer in the 7th to mow down the heart of the Jays order even though they were down 5-1.
I'm not much for conspiracy theories but if I wanted to make sure the score stayed under on the low key I'd play it exactly how the O's skipper is playing it. Make it make sense.

There's NO reason to put in a rookie that's never had a hit in his MLB career in that spot unless you don't have an interest in winning the game. It makes zero sense and Hyde probably won't even have to answer any hard questions in the post game about it.

It's not the mayo thing only... Why do you put a .205 scrub dh in for Holliday the only player who was doing well for Orioles today. That's two crap moves and it makes others think too not just me. I wanted to watch Holliday bat with players on the bases.

I saw that too Coin. I've seen obvious rigging in college basketball but I've always loved MLB and hockey because they seemed more on the up and up. But watching those moves tonight have me thinking my sports gambling days are done.

did you watch this idiot manage in the playoffs last year? The team has outgrown his reach long ago, fans have suffered for decades, expect opportunities to fade them this post season

NHL is already ruined brother . I had the toughest time in NHL when I was regularly winning for 15 years . Now you have teams not scoring on the empty nets or lame calls for penalties . You can't touch a player anymore .
MLB was generous last season with the new rules but now I am seeing lots of sketch umpire calls and manipulating of the end result . It's really to tough to win now . One thing about MLB I'm finding out is never touch the heavy favorite and look out to the next series... A good team might not even show up for a b rated series because they play a rival next . Lots to learn again but this game was a fix. The coach put his team in the worst possible situation to come back .

I can do an in-depth write-up about Cointelpro in sports if anyone would be interested. What I've noticed recently has actually gone unnoticed by this forum eg Will Smith in disbelief about the strike calls he was getting the other night then throwing one way outside the zone and walking a guy like fuck it.

Jim Lampley, George Foreman, Sergio Mora have blatantly tried talked to fighters in the ring and spin doctored fights for years and years. Sports as an espiocracy or spy conspiracy is a fact. Watch the first three rounds of Canelo Munguia see how they are blatantly spinning it in Canelo's favor, then check the scorecards for those rounds. Tip of the iceberg
