From south to north. So from right field to left.
And considering MN is loaded with left handers, I like the under if you are playing the total.

To go from a -125 all morning to a -105 in an instant because of Ellsbury?
This happens daily with ineffiencies in the market. I got washington last night at +202, now its +172. Lines are off, and the sharps take advantage of the off lines. That is why it is usually profitable to bet these early if you can get good lines with money down. However that is hard to do in this day and age b/c there isn't much market value on matchbook sometimes noon or so on day of games, particularly on totals.

I don't doubt that he is a sharp, but I was just trying to answer his question barney. I think he was trying to see if he was missing an injury or something, but he should realize these lines move quite a bit overnight. I did not see what time the line changed, so maybe it changed drastically right before game time, in which case his question has validity.

Sir -
THIS doesnt happen every day.
This is a 20 cent move an hour before first pitch on an express train - no stops inbetween -125 and -105. THAT doesnt happen daily.
I realize lines move. I realize lines can move 20 cents in a day. But this was a strange move - and it wasnt because someone suddenly realized that the red sox are bad on the road or all of the stats listed in this thread....
I dont know what the something is - but THIS is not the daily moves you are talking about.

This was not an overnight line - this line moved 10 seconds before the timestamp of my first post. Within 2 hours of first pitch.
