What an absolute atrocity this kid is. Unbelievable, filthy, knee buckling stuff.

Most dusturbing thing about him is he hasn't even learned how to pitch yet. What he is doing and has done is virtually unprecedented in MLB History.

He is a different specimen, the likes of which we have never seen and may never see again.

If he ever develops that slider facing him will be a futile maneuver. Surrender.

I can't tell you how happy I am the Reds passed on him in the draft and took Drew Stubbs instead.

you actually think this kid could beat Cy Young's 511 wins?  He'd have to pitch 26 seasons at 20 wins per season to get there

You do know atrocity is a bad thing right? In no way can the word atrocity be made out to be a good thing. You can say Timmay is one bad dude and it can mean a good thing but you can't say Timmay is one atrocious dude and have it mean a good thing.

With that said, yes he got off to a great start but so have plenty of pitchers, maybe not to the extent Lincecum did but never the less, give it time and see if he can continue to hold up over time. That is one small dude and one violent delivery for him not to eventually have back or shoulder problems.

Any chance that this develops into one of those classic threads.

For the life of me I can not remember the name of the guy who started a thread that was so screwed up that it was funny as hell and took on a life of its own. I want to say it was about 5 years ago

    You should have said....

The correct spelling for one of the words you have in your post is "disturbing".

Now that would have been a more proper use of the written english language.

However I do applaud your attempt to correct a typo......

I've seen him pitch in person many times. He truely deserves his nickname... The Freak.

I look forward to this season and him winning his 3rd Cy Young Award in a row.

He's a skinny guy that has a violent throwing motion. He's going to mess up his shoulder or elbow eventually.  I hope he doesn't have any injuries and have a long career, but it's inevitable unless he changes his throwing mechanics

With that said, yes he got off to a great start but so have plenty of pitchers, maybe not to the extent Lincecum did but never the less, give it time and see if he can continue to hold up over time. That is one small dude and one violent delivery for him not to eventually have back or shoulder problems.

You beat me to it. ATROCITY............

Contrary to popular belief, Lincecums mechanics are actually very solid. He has the longest stride of any pitcher in MLB History and that helps take pressure off his arm and shoulder.

Nobody's messing with his mechanics.  We'll see how it pans out in the long run.
