In all honesty...the way they are playing, I wouldn't be surprised. But you still have to realize, they got pleanty more games to go against the Rays, Yanks and Sawx.

Oh boy.

I think you have a valid assumption. They are in a great postion to keep control of the lead. Keep fingers crossed on Halladays Health and they are the champs of their division. So early in the season to really put a ton of stake in them, but i beilive they continue to roll..

Hey...their rotation has been pretty good of late aside from Hughes. And their bullpen is good if they would send down Albaladejo, Ramirez and Veras. Bruney should be back on Tuesday and after a few outings, he can be back to normal. Aceves has been outstanding in the pen. They should use him more and send Hughes to the pen as well when Wang comes back.

Im not a Yankee Hatter, but just a bit pissed at the start so far.
Im getting tired of the mishaps, they should be so frickin elite, but again so should a lot of teams. Playing to your potential is hard when you really should not be a Yank. The Yanks have been filling positions for the past 5 years w/ players that just dont fit the Yanks Team.
Johnson a Yank- Ya right....
Brown on his way out - what the fug
Abreu - not even close
and the list could go on

Giambi, Pavano etc etc. I know. But Tex has been coming around with A-Rod heating up. Nobody wants to face A-Rod with a runner on. But they've picked their spots before. Mussina and O'Neil were great pickups. Maybe Tex, CC and AJ are just as good to be solid Yankees for years to come. A-Rod will be there for years as well. I personally would have let Tex go though just because Pujols will be available soon enough and he will get a bigger contract than any of the Yanks' recent pickups, and maybe, just maybe, even A-Rod. And remember, their pitching is still young and needs to progress. Obviously, as a fan, I'm hoping for the best and maybe this 5 game streak is a sign of a great remainder of the season.

Noted- we will see in the next couple months..
I actually like Tex as a Yank, he will shine soon. His best months are coming.

I assume you haven't been watching Yankees' baseball. Wang has had back to back 19 win seasons and was possibly heading for that last season before heading to the DL.
Sabathia has given up 2 runs in his last 2 games against the O's and Jays. Those are the teams you face time after time and need to dominate and he did.
Tex had a batting average of .191 on Tuesday and is already up to .231. Thats an improvement and you have to start somewhere. And if it wasn't for him, the Yanks wouldn't have even come close to winning yesterday. And even with his .231 BA he has a .354 OBP.
Can't back the bullpen because their a joke. But now tell me what I missed.
