To try to get to third with one out. Anderson caught him at the last second. If he goes to the plate he's safe easily. He can then score on a groundball, flyout, wild pitch. If that happens everyone here is saying great job Rios. But since he got caught at the very last second everyone wants to call him a dumb fuck instead.

#1 Dye doesn't play shortstop

#2 He was asking for more money than the White Sox thought he was worth and 29 other teams thought he was worth

#3 Ramirez leads all AL Shortstops in average, homeruns, and OPS. He's top 4 in rbi's and runs. He plays a gold glove calibur shortstop as well. He has decent speed on the basepaths and can get down a bunt if needed. He's a solid ballplayer overall and an above average shortstop.

#4 Ramirez was already under contract
