Brewers are the best play. They are the most complete team. They showed it earlier in the week sweeping the Cards. The Cards starting rotation has been doiing it with smoke and mirrors. Brewers seem to have at least solved their bullpen woes of a year ago. Reds are a threat and likely will be more active in making trades but their bats just cant make up for that inconsistant pitching. Take a shot on the Brew Crew.

I dont disagree that Mil should be the fav, however reading to much into them sweeping stl could be dangerous, mil caught cards at a very good time and with the right part of the rotation.
this statement makes no sense "cards starting rotation has been doin it with smoke and mirrors", give me a break Garcia is a front line pitcher, Carpenter although cant buy a W has pitched well, McClellan is more than capable. Loshe worries me some and westbrook is what he is a solid sinkerball pitcher. where you get smoke and mirrors is beyond me.
Just a few short weeks ago stl handled mil in stl, comical that you think a 3 gm set in June proves who the best in the div is. Especially when half of Cards lineup was on the dl during that series.
Now that im done with your ridiculous comments unless Cards make a few moves they will fall out of this thing, their offense will be healthy after all-star break and you would be hard pressed to name many lineups better when albert/holiday/berkman/freeze/rasmus are all healthy. Problem is they have to get some bullpen help, they dont have one quality lefty, they still trying to hang on hope for Franklin who was more lucky than good when he was effective, Larussa is gonna have to trust Motte, Boggs, Sanchez because Bautista, Miller, talbert are all pathetic. If stl makes a move or two to sure up the pen and maybe another starter this thing will go down to the wire.
