There were two good values on Hou. Right before game 5 at + 180 and after the game 1 lost at + 240. At this point might as well either pay the inflated WS price of - 180 or hope Hou loses game 4 so you get + money again.

Wait til after Tanaka beats Houston in game 4...

I've been on Hou since the Grienke trade. Wanted to double down 3 different times this week. Before game 5, after game 1 and before game 3. The only thing that concerned me was how anemic their offense had been. 

But it seems every step of the way this season when the chips are down, this team steps up. With an offense that has clicked the past 2 days to go with a decided rotation advantage and potentially 4 consecutive games completely negating NY's bullpen advantage, it seems more clear than ever at a minimum Hou will survive this series.

So who wins a WS against a hot Was team with a dominant rotation? Line has certainly been more bullish on Was dropping from - 210 to - 170 now. However a few factors favor Hou besides a rotation to match, significant home field advantage and championship experience. And there's one number that impossible to ignore. And that's in the past 30 seasons, teams that have swept the LCS, only one, the 95 Braves have ended up winning it all. For all those reasons I believe Hou stands as good a chance as any previous champions to seal the deal. At this point a Hou wager would be a wise investment. The only question is whether you want to gamble and hope they lose game 4 to probably give you the last chance of getting them at + money again.

Why would that help.  Verlander and Cole are still waiting.

5dimes currently has the Astros at EVEN money to win the WS.

Sometimes a lot of time off cools down a hot team/rest=rust? Just sayin'... I like Houston to win it all but the Yanks will make a series of this yet IMO.
