Absolutely correct. But truth be told. I don&#x2019;t think any 10 year contract is a good signing . Guy tweaks his back after year 1, and then you have an average player for the next 9 years. Not to mention. Motivation is gone after you ink 10 plus years. Look around. What 10 year plus  contract is looking great right now? I could be wrong. But has anyone who&#x2019;s inked a 10 plus year contract have their production go up? Trout isn&#x2019;t the same, Rendon, Harper, Machado, Tatis, don&#x2019;t t even get me started with Stanton. The list is long. Of course they put fans in the seats. Acuna is one I can think of that is balling. But the ironic thing about him. He&#x2019;s grossly underpaid compared to his peers. These guys should be getting 5 -6 year max, so that they continue playing for bigger contracts. Just my opinion. Maybe they need to get steroids back, because at least guys stayed healthy.
