Wsox ....Its hard to believe your going against the redsox the way they have been hitting lately...this is from my thread earlier ...like ryan said who knows what bard can do






Redsox are 6-1 in their last 7 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of less than .400

Redsox are 5-1 in their last 6 games following a win

Redsox averaging 7.8 runs/game over their last 4 contests 

Bard to me is underrated as this is his first season in the starting rotation..his last outing looked good giving up 1 earned run in 6 2/3 innings while striking out 7 batters against tampa bay 



Whitesox are 1-7 in their last 8 home games vs. a team with a losing record.

Whitesox are 1-6 in Danks' last 7 starts vs. American league east

Whitesox are 2-15 in Danks' last 17 friday starts

Danks' has given up 11 earned runs and 30 base runners in 18 2/3 innings over his last 3 starts

I never said it was easy but its important to play trends in this sport and when a team as hot as the sox have been the past few days its hard to bet against them thats all im saying...bol with that pic

Kirbs21, i was just fuckin around. I agree with what your saying...I  just have no faith in the red sox bullpen. Their manager is on the rocks and he second guesses all his moves. It will cost them in close games. Yesterdays game was Humber just overwhelmed. Danks has yet to prove himself and I believe its comming tonight.

I like the Red Sox tonight because I think the Red Sox have to much offense for the White Sox.

The Indians right now is a crapshoot wondering what offense will show up. Also Chris Perez scares me to death if the Indians are hanging on to a lead in the 9th.

Kirbs21---Dont you believe the recent hot streak against the twins is a little misleading? I mean I really believe the twins are the worst team in baseball...they have no heart and their players couldnt be any worse. Not only do I believe the twins are the worst team in baseball, I was suprised they even came close in any of those game. False hope for the lowly Red Sox. I think danks sticks it to them.

No hard feelings  its just the sox are on a 4-0 win streak outscoring their opponents  34-16....and I think the pirates or the Royals will be the worst team in baseball...Pirates are only avg like 2 runs a game

and I dont disagree with you...Bard needs to go atleast 6-7 innings or the sox will be in trouble as like you said their bullpen is really shaky....Heard the other day bobby v thought the starter for the twins was a lefty so he put his lefty card up and I think Sweeny asked him why wasn't he playing because he bats good against right handed pitchers and bobby v freaked out and ran over and changed the lineup right before he had to turn it into the umps

Wow, how can you bet on a team with such an idiot manager? The guy is totally lost.....he is still in Japan.

I really dont like the pirates, i dont think i will ever bet on them again after I lost on a walk off error vs San Francisco. For AL teams I believe the twins are the worst of the worst. If they face a good pitcher they wont score. Their only hope is willingham which is sad.

Regardless, i think this red sox game will be fairly low scoring going well below 8.5, which will favor Chi Sox in my opinion.
