I thought they go out and get Garland or Davis. Some kinda of cheap starter out there. And now Hughes isn't starting a game until the 15th because of all the off games. Doesn't matter now though...their bullpen looks like trash aside from...well...the guys that haven't pitched yet.

I actually thought they may have went after Garland as well. He can eat innings and can have the quality to get you 13-14 wins a season.

But they got Vazquez and had to start one of the young guys. I mean...they just had to get one of them in that rotation. But when Pettitte retires next season...they'll probably go after Cliff Lee. But that's irrelevant right now. I would like Tex to homer here.

Came in after Park gave up the 7-7 HR... Just couldn't hold me bashing that f'n pitcher.. I hate him more than anything except for today -- first time I'v loved him, lol..

Agree. If I recall...they lost Game 1 of 162 last season and did pretty well for themselves.
