Despite what people say, there is nothing wrong with taking these kind of bets. You just need to be very selective because of the high strike rate required, and picking the same bet 2 days in a row doesn't seem very selective.

Picking Hughes at those odds is definitely not for me, ML, RL or alternative runlines
