Seth Lugo's ERA at home through July 21st was 2.12

Since then? 5.06

@MrBator - That's right, Mr. Bator. He hasn't been nearly as dominant since the all star break in general. At home he really fell off. I like the Yanks chances to put up a handful of runs and I don't like KC's offense against anyone. In the last 30 days of the regular season, the Royals offense ranked last in AVG, last in OPS, 2nd to last in OBP, and last in SLG.

Typically, the Yankees are a public team. Although, they’re not getting much action today. Maybe it’ll steam later, but it seems people are wary with Judge’s playoff performance and Seth Lugo’s all star season. In reality, the Yanks are the much better side and it’s not even close.

I have NYY very BIG tonight.  

But I must disagree that 'it's not even close'.

It is very, very much close.  That is why the line is where it is.

KC +5.7U/NYY -13.25U

KC home +1.3U/NYY away +6.4U

Not counting the last game H2H from last year (which KC won) -- their L9 H2H:

KC -1.93U/NYY +1.58U

But in KC:

KC -1.58U/NYY +1.45U

NYY did beat Lugo in KC -- but it was early in the summer.

Certainly, NYY has the ability to blow anyone away if they get going -- which is what I am counting on tonight.

BUT KC has the ability to keep any game close and win it late, if their bullpen stays hot.

My brother how are ya ? Wishing you a winning day mate ! I’m gonna watch it (with no bets on ) . Your a stats man , so I have no doubt you know about lugos last performance against the yanks back September 10 I think ? 7 innings 10 strikeouts 3 hits no runs no walks . Stellar performance . Combine that with as you say some real inconsistency from the royals bats especially how flat they were at the end of regular season , crunch game , if he can replicate that last game maybe under 7.5 at +110 might be worth a look ? I was hoping the royals win as i don’t want yanks or dodgers to make it through , but i think I’ll cheer for you today mate so you get some cash , gl friend

@Raiders22 - Yo Raiders, appreciate that. Let me clarify my comment. I was referring to the two sides statistically over the course of the season. The data is not even close, that's what I meant. Of course, the Royals pitching got them this far, so it has to be respected. However, their offense doesn't deserve to be in the playoffs and I'm betting it will be their downfall. But I hear ya on tonight's line. Now, let's get this win.

@Aussiejesse - Yo Jesse! I hope all is well on the other side of the world. Yeah I know Lugo shut down the Yanks the last time he saw them. Although, he's been anything but consistent in the 2nd half, so I'm betting he can't do it again. And if he does keep em quiet, I don't think their offense will do enough against Schmidt. In that regard, I could see the under hit, but I'm not a totals guy. I understand you not wanting the Yanks to move on. But c'mon man - is there a more boring team than KC?  Spot on brother , my way of thinking though ,,,,if the royals go through , all the more easier for the tigers to win it all which is who I’m cheering for now out of the remaining teams . And thanks mate , nice to see you here and go yanks
