I thought it was unrealistic and comical.  However, the special and visual effects were quite good.

That Russian guys twin sons had the most ridiculous hair-styles. I kept thinking back to that Fat Kid Loser from the Wedding singer that Sandler got Drew Barrymore to choose to dance with.

Just watched a download. Sure it was far fetched and all but this was the best disaster movie I've seen. It mopped the floor with Day After Tomorrow. Two thumbs up from me

no offense, but you if you enjoyed this movie, even one bit, you wouldn't know a good movie if it bit you in the dick

It felt like a good adventure to me with excellent special effects. I'm not sure how anybody could say they weren't entertained. It kept a fast pace. What did you expect when going to a disaster movie? You expect Forest Gump drama or something? Cusack's escapes were ridiculous but what were they supposed to do? We have a movie where the world is being destroyed and he's supposed to stay alive. They obviously can't let him get killed so of course some escapes will be ridiculous but I chose to just have fun with it instead of nit pick. Just my two cents.

I dont like my odds of getting on one of those ships.  They saved what, about 400,000 out of a world population of 6 billion.  Nice happy ending.  Of course they did say I think that most of Africa wasn't flooded I think.  Still, how many died?  Probably about 5.8 or 5.9 billion people.  Truth is, if that does happen in the future, I doubt even one person would survive.  By the way, it is true that Einstein supported the theory of the possibilities of this happening.

As for the movie, it was what I expected.  Some very cool special effects with alot of Hollywood fluff.
