Yuice, I agree. haven't watched this season or shown any interest.......I'll rent it and watch it all in a week in 6 months.

seasons #4-#7 were great

downloaded season #5 on KA, but it took an extremely long time.......Then converting it to itunes another 1.5  days.....

Well worth it........

I need #4, since I missed the first 5 episodes I think, but recall liking it.......

I liked the season a lot with the female president when those whacky militant Africans (looking Somalia-ish) took over the White House. That was #7 and last years...Am I correct about that?

Completely agree.. If Jack Bauer was in Brokeback Mountain, there would be no gay cowboys, just dead ones

For several years, 24 used to be my favorite program.  However, for some reason, I'm just not enjoying this season as I have most of the other seasons. 

I haven't decided if it's just because the program is starting to get old, or if this season's characters and story aren't as good, or if it's just me or what.

For the moment though, I'm still watching every episode each week.

one of the most well written shows of all time. great acting and raw grittiness from the streets of baltimore.

24

was awesome the 1st 4-5 seasons but has gotten stale the last 3.

I miss the show!!!!

Season's 1,4 and 7 were superior to everything ever put on TV.  Unfortunately, season 8 was probably the low point.  Still, like the quote said, this is the only show I watched every week, and I taped it and watched each episode twice so that I would not miss any subtle part.  It's also the only show I've watched more than one episode of in the past 25 years!  I've tried many, but have just can't get into them.

You’ve got to be kidding me.

 

2 great seasons, 1 good season, 3 above average seasons, and 2 terrible seasons does not equal the best drama of all time.

 

I’ve seen every 24 season expect for the last one and while the show, overall, is better than most other stuff out there, it’s not even close to shows like The Sopranos, Deadwood, The Shield, etc.

After recently watching all 5 seasons of The Wire, I am officially changing my answer from Oz to The Wire.

If anyone hasn't seen the series, I can't recommend it enough.

I could never get into that show. I had to force myself just to make it through the first half of the first season, but then I couldn’t take anymore. I just didn’t give a shit what was happening.

When I first watched the first half of season 1, I was thinking its just another cop/crime show. Just keep watching and you  will soon realize how great it was.
