one of my all time favorite aviation themed movies The Spirt of St Louis (1957) is on Turner Classic Movies Monday Feb 4th @ 10:30 am eastern time. it's the biography of Charles Lindbergh, played by Jimmy Stewart, in a "look back" format as he's flying his 1927 New York to Paris flight. VERY well acted by Stewart and all involved and also VERY funny in spots. I think it's one of the top 3 aviation themed movies along with The Right Stuff (1983) and Task Force (1949)
also later on TCM Monday is Bonnie & Clyde (1967), Cool Hand Luke (1967). Bullitt (1968) and The Wild Bunch (1969)
