Bad Movies Last Year?

Question

I say "War Horse " was garbage.  I have lot&#x27;s of reasons as a veteran for my opinion but that movie was just crap.  Very sorry over rated movie!

Very sorry over rated movie! &#xD;&#xA;&#xD;&#xA;[/Quote]&#xD;&#xA;I agree &#xD;&#xA;I think it was supposed to be Steven Spielberg&#x27;s "All Quiet of the Western Front" but FAILED and it&#x27;s defintely a movie that would scare the hell out of young childern with it&#x27;s scenes of cruelty to the horses. best description I heard was the plot was "Black Beauty with bullets" &#xD;&#xA;other "over-hyped tripe" has to include Red Tails (the 1995 made for HBO movie The Tuskegee Airmen is a better acted telling of the story with a much better cast and more historicly accurate) and Ridley Scott&#x27;s Aliens "prequel" Prometheus which was a chopped up mess and definately NOT up to previous Alien standards. seemed like they "over cut" the movie and probably removed some scenes that "tie it all together" much like with what happened to Francis Ford Coppola&#x27;s 1979 Apocalypse Now. probably need to do a "Prometheus Redux" like Coppola did with Apocalypse. &#xD;&#xA;haven&#x27;t seen the remake of the 1984 Patrick Swayze classic Red Dawn BUT with the way the politics of the world have changed since the cold war ended, I figure THAT has to be a waste along with Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. the whole premise for the movie is just STUPID and DISRESPICTFUL.

Rat, I thought I would get chewed up by saying "War Horse" was bad so thanks for jumping in with your opinion. I said I thought it was bad because it is bad on many levels and of course the horrible terror with the horses is incredibly over done not acceptable ever. I'm a hard core killer vet and I winced at some things. I felt it was bad on many levels and really, really bad on others. I can't see any merit in that movie.

The promotion of that movie was world wide and gave a impression of beauty and love of horses and the greatness of this beast. Bring your kids! I hope the children don't wet their beds and have bad dreams for long.
