the espionage themed series back on EPIX for a 2nd season. 1st one I thought was pretty good and the opening two episodes Sunday October 15th were excellent (EPIX has the re-runs daily thru next Sunday). plays on Sundays @ 9:00pm eastern time
excellent cast staring Richard Armitage as Daniel Miller and Rhys Ifans as Hector DeJean, both CIA case officers and former partners at another station with Richard Jenkins as Steven Frost Berlin Station chief of station and Leland Orser as Robert Kirsch his deputy chief. German actress Mina Tander is WAY sexy as German intell agent Esther Krug while Ashley Judd as BB Yates, this seasons new chief of station, and Keke Palmer as April Lewis, a young black woman CIA case officer, join the cast this season.
first two episodes are about a German neo-nazi group trying to steal the upcoming German parliament elections and had pretty good suspense and action. I am a spy story NUT so naturally I LIKE this show and it's worth a look for fans of the genre. EPIX has emerged as a channel with outstanding new "self produced" series like this one, the crime comedy-drama Get Shorty, which just finished it's first season, and the political comedy Graves staring Nick Nolte
