Paul Newman at his best as Luke Jackson, George Kennedy (best supporting actor Oscar) as Dragline and Strother "What we've got here is Failure to Communicate." Martin as Captain.

defiantely one of Newman's best ever.

great movie...forgot about a few others in the movie....Joe Don Baker...Dennis Hopper...Wayne Rogers ....

Repo Man .....Green Mile.....Godfather 3....Paris,Tx....Dillinger...+100 or more films and  50 TV series or so....WW ll veteran that still acts and tours with his band !!!
