Da Vincis demons

Well i saw the first episode. I am not sold on it. The show tries to much... part borgias, part game of thrones, part the bbc show merlin.

Personally i do not think it is dark enough. It is not a show catered to adults.. more like teenagers and the young at heart.

I will give it 2 more episodes to see if it gets better.

I came close to deleting about halfway through. Biggest turnoff for me was seeing David Goyers name about 32 times in the opening credits. I'm surprised he didn't cast himself as Da Vinci.

I think he is a hack and rode Nolan's coattails to undeserved fame for a few ideas he had in the Batman movies. He's a comic fanboy, a complete hack, and he don't have an original idea in his head.

But I'm gonna try to fight my bias against Goyer and give it a few more episodes.

saw the first episode and though it was decent drama IF you like medieval period settings. definately a bit "far fetched" though.

just viewed the last show for this season. the plot has really picked up from the first couple episodes kind of "slow play" and I'm definately looking forward to next season. just too bad they killed off Lorenzo Medici's brother Giuliano (played by Tom Bateman). I really liked him as a character. should have done in the that scheming witch Lucrezia Donati instead

STARZ is really coming on with the serials. 2nd season of Magic City starts next week AND next years Black Sails looks interesting

Yeah i have also watched Da Vincis Demons. I agree the first tree episodes were sort of stupid but it has picked up.

This show has been pretty entertaining. It seems like the release of new episodes is somewhat sporadic.

I was getting the impression that Da Vinci was bisexual in this show. I wonder if he was in real life.
