First episode is the same crappy garbage as last season and the season before.

What a joke this show has turned into.

Shows in their 7th season are rarely good.  The problem is all of you are trying to compare it to the first two years.  I like the dynamic of this old women and the story line is far stronger then last season.  So far it's been a decent couple of episodes, just hope it doesn't fall apart like last year.

Last episode slid its butt off the bottom barely, still it has been ultra predictable.

Whatever happened to the theory of Harry being murdered by the police chief? That whole story line disappeared and now we are back to the suicide snoozer.

So Deb is going to be conned into killing Dex..thats the obvious predictable ending, so it is likely what ends up happening.

You criticize this show vehemently and yet you still watch it?!?!

I highly doubt it would have such a predictable ending.... like so....

I think the babysitter ends up finding out about dexter!

I am pot committed, been watching the show since the start, so good or bad I will finish it out.

The plots have been horrible for years. I used to like how there was the police plot and Dexter plot and the rest, now they have joined a few plot lines, accelerated the plot process (completing issues in like 1-2 episodes) and turned it into mediocre television.

Season 4...best television ever

Season 6...worst television ever...

Season 1...pretty amazing

Season 2...very good

Season 3....meh

Season 5....meh

Season 7....pretty good

What do you want Wall?  Where are they supposed to take this script after this many episodes?  I would like to hear what you would do with the story line.  Try writing a show for 80 episodes and tell me what you got.  Obviously it's not as good as the first 4 years but it's still a good show.

I gave up on this one last year.  I was huge fan of the early years but just couldn't stomach the new stuff.  As mentioned, they really extended this show far beyond what it should have been.  Way to long of series with far too many unnecessary story lines.  Boring, stupid and just plain silly most of the time.

It's funny because I feel a show like Breaking Bad would really benefit from a few more seasons.  In that case, I feel like things are being rushed.  Go figure...

Breaking Bad needs to end this now Chris.  Season 4 was awful, the part where they break into the police station was when I said to myself they ran out of stories to tell.  He took spray paint to cover the camera and the whole magnet was one of the most painful things I've watched for such a great show.   A lot of the story lines with the kid was silly, nobody is that dumb.  Lot of it was forced.  They had a great 3 years but fell off the wagon hard.

Chris this season of Dexter has been solid.  Last year was pretty bad but nice rebound year.

So Breaking Bad fell off the wagon but Dexter didn't? Wowsers...I think you have the shows mixed up.

The season with Lumen and Jordan Chase was god-awful and Debra crying every episode has been getting old since, well, season 1.  Not to mention that the season with Tom Hanks' son was terrible as well.

Breaking Bad is still way better even though last season wasn't as good.

Hmm... I'm not sure I agree with you 165.  First off, I think you have season 4 and 5 mixed up.  The police station break in didn't occur until the 5th season.  That being said, it was pretty damn silly.  I'll give you that.  But it goes back to my initial point.  They are trying to rush things in order to wrap the show up and in turn, it made season 5 very disappointing.

One of my favorite things about the show in the first four seasons was how they moved the story line forward at very a comfortable and easy pace thus allowing things to build somewhat naturally.  It's almost as if the show is on speed now.  Everything is whipped together.  It didn't even feel like the same show.

At least that's my opinion.

Now enough of about Breaking Bad.  Sorry I got this started in Dexter thread.

Who is the one person Dexter would never see coming for him and why?  Answer this and you'll know how this show ends.


So Joey Quinn is out to prove he is a really good cop after all huh? 


Seeing an awful lot of Jaime as well so far. Looks like somebody has a bigger role this season. 


Elway is awfully protective of Debra , and his job is quite interesting too 


Dexter has a protege now.

This psychologist doctor plot line is getting more and more boring..as is this protege new line.

Quinn asking questions is also predictable, they showed it earlier this season in the teasers.

Really disappointing to see his old girlfriend back, i just don't see the need. Very redundant.

165 you're an idiot. breaking bad is far better of a show than dexter and you're talking about season 5... ..

these last two episodes have been awful, really this whole season has been terrible... .  ........ the show seems like it's going to end way too abruptly.  that's pretty stupid.

also I think jamie is the one who leads to dexters demise maybe even vince masuka

Our thought collectively here is that Deb is going to kill the blonde and that will tick off Dexter, show down at the end.

Yeah this season is a snoozer just like the last two, these tangent plot lines like the topless daughter of Vince and how totally wimpy Harry has become.

End the show already and let Homeland start..
