Saw two lately that I really liked-
 
Lock stock and two smoking barrels
 
layercake
 
I would really like to watch more from this genre (brittish gangser type flicks).

Trainspotting was excellent as was Snatch.....both are highly recommended especially if you liked Lock Stock

I disagree with the last post.  Layercake (in my opinion) is the best of the bunch.

Layercake is always on and I never saw it. Lock Stock... was great i saw that just recently.
 
is Snatch really that good? Thats never on . Worth buying?

Snatch is a great flick and worth renting (or downloading   ). I wouldn't buy Snatch unless you can find a used copy on sale but that's just me.
 
not British but a good gangster flick that takes place in Paris (Eric Stoltz and Julie Delphy) Killing Zoe.

From over here maybe Two Hands (very early Health Ledger) or Idiot Box (that maybe too Aussie for you though)

I own it. It should be pretty cheap most places, I saw it at dominicks a few days ago for $10. If you liked Lock Stock you should like Snatch.

  Snatch, Lock Stock, and Layercake = all awesome movies.  Love that type of movie also.

another great one that I do not hear a lot of hype about is Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.

More of a Usual Suspects feel to it.

Snatch is a must own.

Other than that....no-one mentioned "Sexy Beast" with Ben Kingsley. Really good British Comedy-CrimeDrama..........exactly what you're looking for.......fucking awesome movie.

Can't believe no-ones seen that/ mentioned it.

Sexy Beast is an OK movie, but Ben Kingsley is fucking awesome in it
