Getting drunk, high or a combination of both. You have the Ipod on and are playing online poker...the TV is on just for something to watch between hands.

 

What do you tune to just for the great visuals and Cinematography?

Last of the Mohicans...superb outdoor scenery

Ravenous....see above

Anything done by Pixar....In HD...Outstanding

John Carpenter's.....The Thing....FX before CGI was invented

Fargo/Schindler's List/Jaws....Classic

Starship Troopers/Robocop/Dawn of the Dead...wall to wall action

And of Course...Wizard of Oz+Dark side of the Moon

I don't know why, but I can't stop watching that movie "The Sandlot" It has been on Stars or Encore like everyday and for some reason while skimming through the channels, I always stop on that one.

Let It Ride, Slap Shot, the "morning after" scene from Hangover (instant classic), "Scrat" scenes from the Ice Age movies (pee your pants funny), ANY Roadrunner cartoon, helicopter attack scene from Apocalypse Now set to Wagner's Walkurenritt (2nd best use of classical music in a movie) old casino fight scene in A Clockwork Orange set to Rossini's Overture to La Gazza Ladra  (BEST use of classical music in a movie)

Back in high school, I used to get really high and watch Austin Powers: Goldmember. I must have done this 20+ times, I tended to do a ton of repetitive shit when I was high way back in the day haha.

Chapelle's Show was great to get high and watch too.

That first movie is spectacular. It became really trendy all of a sudden to hate on the matrix movies. I understand the second and third were quite a drop off, but the first is just great.

I's sad that people's need to fit in is more important than admitting whether they actually like something.
