books wont allow that bet for two reasons :

1) they dont allow parlays on on sporting events

2) those two bets are a related contingency.

It's morning, and no coffee yet, but huh?

Maybe not for those amounts, but am I missing something by your post?

I've never wagered on a non sporting event, so I'm certainly not saying you are wrong, but I'm just not familiar with non sporting bets.........I've certainly seen and been rejected trying to parlay a side and a total in the same game, and thought it stupid.

Its just joke- and yes it is correlated parlay, and true no book will likely take a wager that big on a non-sporting event and because it is a correlated parlay

The funny part also is that NEITHER are going to win. Hurt Locker is winning best picture and Bigelow is going to win best director. Besides wtf is 10 to win 13? James Cameron is +350 to win best director and Avatar is a small dog for best picture.
