saw the opening and it looks pretty good esp for us degenrates. looks like Michael Gambon character is going to be a nasty bastard like Alan Ford as "Brick Top" in the movie "Snatch".

I'm interested to see how the "Pick 6" winners SCREW it UP. you KNOW they WILL.

&#xD;&#xA;watched last night and didn&#x27;t think it was THAT bad. they are still developing the plot and all the characters aren&#x27;t in play yet. thought the scene where the two person tried to kill Lonnie for his life insurance was pretty wild.

Im rapidly running out of patience on this one. Needs to pick up quickly. A lot of Hoffman fans like it because he plays a fantastic heavy and he rarely does. Nolte is fantastic, Hoffman is always solid outside of that the acting is marginal at best. To see Hoffman as a great heavy watch Billy Bathgate a mediocre film but he plays a great Dutch Schultz. I think he should have played some heavier gangster type roles because he is very good at it!

Billy Bathgate, with Dustin Hoffamn as Dutch Schultz, is on The Movie Channel (TMC) tuesday feb 21st, friday feb 24th and monday feb 27th. worth watching IF you have never seen it
