Wow.
Having not read the book and just seeing the previews, the GF took me last night to see this. What a sad, sad, movie.
I suggest waiting for DVD if ya'll are emotional when it comes to your pets.
There are funny scenes in about the first hour of the movie, but after that it gets dramatic and well if you read the book you know the rest...
Almost 2 hours run time, so be prepared to sit for a while...
