The Fighter. Very good movie, Christian Bale was outstanding. I liked it but my gripe is still that you needed to end with his trilogy with Gatti. Imagine Miracle without the USA beating the Russians

Knowing. Nic Cage, I liked the premise a lot, The ending was ridiculous. Good disaster effects. Could have been better

Excellent &#xD;&#xA;thanx for the review. recorded the other night BUT haven&#x27;t watched yet. &#xD;&#xA;finally watched "The Book of Eli" last night. figured it for just another post-apocalypse "Mad Max" style shoot-em&#x27;-up and it had plenty of that BUT had a great "twist" at the end. good acting by Washington and Oldham and esp Michael Gambon (don&#x27;t see "Dunblebore" in a bit part very often) as "George" with Frances de la Tour as "Martha". Mila Kunis as "Solara" sure is one slutty looking broad. &#xD;&#xA;I would say pretty good overall  the "George and Martha" scenes steal the show. two old geezers armed to the teeth was VERY "Tea Party"

just saw takers the other night..this movie sucks for me.as i was watching on i was saying this could be a good robbery movie but as it turned out.

chris brown's running scenes were nice until he and his brother decided to face the cops with a shotgun each..cmon he ran the hell for almost 5 minutes in the movie then the russian came to their hotel room..another survival mode..but you just wanna face off with the cops?i didnt get that..

great analogy to miracle lol those 3 fights are why i like boxing better than mma the hbo documentary about dicky ecklund is called high on crack street lost lives in lowell ... thought the movie exaggerated his problems but after watching that i realized they actually downplayed it

Takers--could have done without T.I. and this movie would have been a lot better off.  Not very good, did pick up steam late but far from your enticing bank robbery movie like heat or the town.  in fact, it was completely fiction in many many ways. and i think matt dillon is one of the worst actors in the world.

TOY STORY 3 - Great movie, regardless of your age.
MEGAMIND - Funny at first but bottomed out real fast.
SHREK FOREVER AFTER - Don't know why they even bothered (for the money, I know...)
THE TOWN - Very surprised by how much I enjoyed it.
THE SOCIAL NETWORK - Not sure if it's THE best picture of the year (I still say INCEPTION), but still one of the better movies I've seen in a long time.

Percy Jackson &amp; the Olympians: The Lightning Thief &#xD;&#xA;this "Greek mythology as teenage fantasy" is not a bad basic introduction to the Gods and mythical creatures of ancient ledgend. good but somewhat mindless action with excellent special effects. probably worth watching for the average horny guy just to get a gander at Rosario Dawson as Persephone  Uma Thurman as Medusa is one wicked bitch. &#xD;&#xA;note: IF you record it DON&#x27;T cut off the credits. after the actor scroll run there is a "suprise ending" scene that will assure you never break into a locked refrigerator to get a beer EVER AGAIN.
