watched Laurence Fishburne's one man play Thurgood last night where he portrays the life of Thurgood Marshall?. interesting history about the legal fight for civil rights BUT overall it was a "snooze fest" compared to the late James Whitmore's 1975 one man play Give 'em Hell, Harry!

wish they would have a re-play of THAT again. is the BEST one man play/movie I have EVER seen.

Just rented Blackhawk Down. Oops, I meant Battle LA. I thought there would be some type of cool alien stuff but it didn't happen. It's all just following one group of Marines. Explosion, explosion, and explosion. I was bored with it but if you enjoy war movies then you'll love this.

plot? how about the acting? TI will never be in a movie again after this.

Battle LA was also horrible. No one with a brain likes this movie.

Piranha......   If I woulda have watched it in 3D, coulda give it a 6/10.....but a 5/10 is it.  The titties made the grade for the movie, good effects but the rest just stinks.....What the fuck happens to the boat driver/cameraman......when did he fell of...???????

Men of Repect (1990)

the plot of Shakespear's Macbeth in a modern NY City Mafia setting. excellent cast and good acting BUT gets kind of "arty smarty" at times. worth watching IF you don't mind sitting thru some bullshit in the middle. check out Vincent "Big box" (in the Sopranos) Pastore in an uncredited bit part during the poker game near the end.
