Narc was a great movie. I haven't seen that in a while. Have to watch it again.
I also saw Assault on Wall street. It definitely shows what these scammers do to people's lives. Stuff happens in our country everyday. I am kind of amazed more people haven't gone off like this in real life. This guy definitely got some payback.

watched two of my favorite aviation war movies last couple nights...
Battle of Britain (1969) has an all star cast of Sir Laurence Olivier, Trevor Howard, Christopher Plummer, Michael Caine, Robert Shaw, Edward Fox, Ralph Richardson and Curt Jurgens. I like it because, like in the D-day invasion movie The Longest Day, the British scenes are in English while the German scenes are in German with subtitles. also it is the ONLY movie about the battle that gives credit to the Polish and other foreign fighter pilots that participated on the British side. excellent air combat scenes done before the age of CGI.
probably the BEST line in the movie is where Luftwaffe chief Hermann Goring asks German fighter leader Major Falke (based on Luftwaffe ace Adolf Galland) what he needs and Falke (Galland) responds "Ein Geschwader von Spitfires" ( "A squadron of Spitfires") a conversation that really took place between the two men and totally pizzed off Goring. also has one of THE great marches composed since WWII with the German theme "Aces High" which was actually composed by Englishman Ron Goodwin. the modern Luftwaffe should probably steal it for their own. plays again on the MGM Movie channel again Wednesday April 23rd @ 4:30 pm pacific time
The Blue Max (1966) WWI air combat drama staring George Peppard, Jeremy Kemp, James Mason and Ursula Andress. excellent air combat scenes once again done before the age of CGI. probably THE best WWI flying movie since Howard Hughes 1930 classic Hell's Angels. the plot is a bit lame at times BUT the flying more than makes up for it. has been playing on the Fox Movie channel recently

The Lone Ranger (2013) first "not so good" Johnny Depp movie I have watched in a long time. didn't really care for his Pirates of the Caribbean series either and this is similar. decent action esp the last 30 minutes or so but VERY lame plot and didn't think Armie Hammer was very good as John Reid as a rather wimpy "Lone Ranger". WAY too long @ 2 1/2 hours. I am pretty sure that both Clayton Moore and Jay Silverheels must be spinning in their graves. definite movie. on Starz movie channels the almost nightly next week
Munich (2005) drama about the Israeli government's secret retaliation against the PLO Black September terrorists after the Munich massacre of their athletes at the 1972 Summer Olympics. very well acted by all involved and a compelling story. Oscar nominations for Best Picture Best Director (Steven Spielberg) and Best Adapted Screenplay. plays again on Cinemax channels again Thursday April 24th and Saturday April 26th
