The Monuments Men (2014) based on the true story of the WWII Monuments, Fine Arts, and Archives program, tasked with finding and saving pieces of art and other culturally important items before their destruction by Hitler during World War II. was kind of disappointing considering the cast of George Clooney, Matt Damon, Bill Murray, John Goodman and Cate Blanchett. it is OK but definately NOT an Indiana Jones movie and rather "plodding". plays again almost daily on Starz channels Wednesday October 22nd thru Wednesday October 29th. somewhat interesting for the history BUT only rate it

Sid and Nancy (1986) bio-movie about Sex Pistols bassist Sid Vicious played by Gary Oldman and his girlfriend Nancy Spungen played by Chloe Webb. early "tour de force" by Oldman and well acted by all involved. a "must see" for punk rock and esp Pistols fans. plays again on MGM movie channel Sunday October 26th @ 7:00 pm pacific time. rate it

Cocaine Cowboys: Reloaded: 
Very similar to the first cocaine cowboys documentary but with more interviews and more graphic details on the many murders commited. If you liked the first one then you should like this one also.

Rush. Pretty recent movie about Formula 1 drivers. Solid movie directed by Ron Howard.

Fury. Solid acting and fighting scenes. Even though Pitt was good, I liked the other 4 main actors better.

'Rush' is underrated. Good movie. 

The doc. on Netflix about Lauda and Hunt is good too...Lauda talking about being in the hospital, getting the insides of his lungs scrapped...Yikes.

I wasn t expecting much but this one was deceptively good.
Overused set up for thriller but it has good plot and lots of twists.
Ending was great as well. Reminded me a Usual Suspect.
8 out 10 for me.  Kate Beckinsale, Ben Kingsley, Limited release in Theater now.
