Dude...stick with cartoons...Avatar's screenplay was juvenile and simple.

Hurt Locker was a grown up movie for adults and I am glad it won

I love how Avatar basically saved the industry this year and then gets thrown under the bus....

Apparently you are not allowed to make a large budget picture and win an award because it was decided that is was "too easy" with all that money...

Can't say if Hurt Locker was better or not as have not seen it.  Everyone I know who has seen it has liked it but not convincingly enough for me to see it (only heard of it after the oscar nod).  Saw Avatar after many people convinced me it was a must see.

Inglurious Basterds was much better than the Hurt Locker.

I think I could have made a movie about the Iraq with my Sony Handycam and won an Oscar this year. The Hurt Locker was pretty good, but best picture? really?

P.S. Did anyone else see James Cameron's wife?? She looks like Skeletor. His ex is much hotter. With all that money, that's the best he could do.

The Academy voters always vote for the emotional tugging crap. They prob are all women who vote. U say Avatar is unoriginal, how original is Hurt Locker.  You follow troops around for a few weeks and boom you have a movie.  The award is best picture, not best way to make you cry.  Total BS

The Academy voters always vote for the emotional tugging crap. They prob are all women who vote. U say Avatar is unoriginal, how original is Hurt Locker.  You follow troops around for a few weeks and boom you have a movie.  The award is best picture, not best way to make you cry.  Total BS

The show reminded me of that Chapelle skit with the Oscar's music button to signal "lets get it moving, you are out of time buddy."

I was pissed when they cut off the director of the Cove and his crew.

There's more integrity in WWE wrestling as far as predetermined outcome.......

Can't believe people bet on that crap, let alone watch it. All those awards shows are garbage, except when there are some decent live musical performances on a rare occasion....

That guy seems like the biggest dick in the world, so that is probably the best he can do.
