Boy, did Doug Liman go downhill after this flick! He went from this and Swingers (two daring and interesting films) to Mr. and Mrs. Smith, The Bourne Identity and episodes of The O.C.??? Well, I guess this isn't the first director who moved from biting satire and interesting art into cash machine flicks. Just ask Peter Jackson! Regardless, GO! Is a fine film and aside from the different plot lines intertwining, has NOTHING to do with Pulp Fiction as some other reviews imply. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Pulp Fiction as well, but this is a different film entirely. These are not the only films to intertwine stories, after all. I don't see anyone comparing Altman's brilliant film Short Cuts to Pulp Fiction. GO! is tasty and funny and although it doesn't make any profound philosophical revelations, it is extremely entertaining and the casting is fantastic. There are actors in this film, whom I wouldn't usually walk from my bedroom to my living room to see, but their cheesiness is translated to camp and it works. (This makes me think that Mr. Liman is an Araki fan or at least a Waters fan as they do the same thing). This is a fun flick and has great energy.

Thoroughly enjoyed this film as well. Never heard it compared to Pulp Fiction nor do I think it should be. First performance I can remember seeing Timothy Olyphant who I think has gone on to do some pretty good work in his career thus far.
