Harry Morgan, who played Colonel Sherman Potter in the popular series M*A*S*H, has died aged 96.
The actor, recently treated for pneumonia, passed away at his home in Brentwood, California, a representative for his son, producer Christopher Morgan, confirmed today.

GREAT actor. was Jack Webb's partner in the old Dragnet TV crime series back in the 1960's. he also played the crazy Major Potts in the 1966 screwball comedy "What Did You Do In The War, Daddy?" (one of my all time fav "screwballs"). I also remember him in the 1967 George C Scott comedy "The Flim-Flam Man" as Sheriff Slade.
