AMC announced they will do a prequel series based on the Saul Goodman character.

That's great news.

Sal Goodman is my favorite character. He is a riot in Breaking Bad.

Hopefully they have Huel and Bill Burr's character too.

I like the character as well but it will be disappointing because we will want it to be as good as BB and it won't.

I have a bad feeling it's going to be a bit slap sticky. Where each week we see him helping a bumbling client get out of a wacky problem.

But then again maybe the character lives a crazy, desperate life that we don't get to see. A degenerate gambler with a serious coke habit. Strung out on she-dudes.

Bob Odenkirk, Bill Burr, and Huell will make a solid show...nowhere near BB of course

Love Odenkirks character after I got used to him.  A lot of comics seem to make that transition to decent actors.


I heard a rumor about this spin off but wasn't sure this chick knew what she was talking about.  I'm all for it but not getting my hopes up.  Is Vince Gill involved?

SPOILER ALERT (In case you haven't watched Breaking Bad)

Sounds like it could have some potential!  I wonder if we'll see characters that were killed off in Breaking Bad reappear since it's a prequel and all?!

I'm particularly interested in how he and Mike got to know one another.  Perhaps the odd sighting of Gustavo?

Sounds like it could make for some interesting storylines!

Prequel ??  That sounds interesting.  Watching Saul evolving into Saul.

For what it's worth to those who don't know Bob Odenkirk this guy is very talented off the screen as a writer and a creator.  Expect David Cross to drop by or have a recurring role.  I hope!  He might be a writer on the show.

Is Vince Gilliam involved in this?  I doubt it.  

Not a bad idea.  Just might be okay if the can work some believable drama into this thing.
