Man, I never thought I'd be the guy touting this show, but the season premier was pretty damn good. The new villain is pretty gnarly and they did a good job bringing forth his character.
This show does a good job interweaving scenes simultaneously in real time. I will be watching. Anybody else?

I really liked it too. The Slave Rebellion is eventually quashed but is he the guy to do it? I know the answer according to history but it will be a fun right watching it unfold.

I enjoy Spartacus, but after GotA there was a huge drop in quality.
It’s still one of my favorite shows, but I don’t think it’s even in the same league as top tier shows like Game of Thrones, Homeland, and Breaking Bad.

Season 1 was brilliant. The prequel was really good. Season 2 a step down. Season 3 another step down.
Not exactly sure why, but it's no longer that show I HAVE to watch anymore. Once upon a time, it was number 1 on my DVR queue, but now it's number 9 out of 14 shows that are live right now. For a bit, it was getting used to the new Spartacus, but I threw on a season 1 episode yesterday and seeing Andy was like looking at a stranger. I'm starting to think the setting of the early seasons(lotus), Batiatus as the main villain, the killing of many main characters, and Starz cutting the show from 36 more episodes to TEN all kinda culminated in the drop of enjoyment(at least for me).
