I think they pull some pretty "overt actions" that a REAL agent would NEVER do because it would leave to easy a trail. good drama but probably 90% "James Bond BS".

thought episode 6 was the best yet, really thought the Jennings had been found out by the FBI the way it started. also thought it was pretty clever the way that cute Russian mouse Nina was able to incriminate the KGB "rezidenty" Vasili as the mole in the embassy and get the haet off herself.

btw, Annet Mahendru, who plays Nina is "sehr heizz". glad she got rid of Vasil. I was sick of watching her have sex with that old toad.

Nina doesn&#x27;t look like a russian girl at all.&#xD;&#xA;that IS true. Russian and Eastern European women, esp Czech, Slovak and Hungarian, I met back in the 1970&#x27;s were WAY hotter than this toots although she IS mighty fine. from the name I would guess the is of Indian or Paki decent

I was a Corporate Pilot and the company had connections in Russia and Eastern Europe. we used to go to Warsaw, Prague and Budapest quite often and even went to Moscow twice.

Well i guess Nina won&#x27;t be back next season. Still great writing and believable story. I m sure some of those story line are based on stuff actually happened. There are so many non fiction spy book out there .

some suprise endings to story lines end of the season. turns out the son of the murdered "illegal" couples family actually was a 2nd generation born in the USA "illegal" himself and killed them to keep his cover? to bad for Nina BUT she is NOT on the plane to Moscow yet

Fabulous show. Earlier post was correct that the pilot superseded the next several episodes but it&#x27;s still a great show. Season 2 was better than season 1 IMO. Plenty of twists and it definitely provides some insight in the "game" that was played between the Russians/Americans during the Reagan area.

I don&#x27;t know whether to check out NBC&#x27;s Allegiance or not. looks like a complete ripoff of The Americans. plays right after The Blacklist on Thursdays which is s fav. anyone watch it? just seen their "teaser" ads

I haven t yet but The American has set the bar so high i can t imagine copycat show would be just as good.This show is getting better and better. I want Nina to go back to that steamy person spy character though, that s the only complain i have, a small one. The best show right now to me.

I had a decent career BUT would NOT recommend it to any young people in this day and age. it is NOT the "big bucks" it used to be AND it is not "automatic" that you will get the mainline airline or ghood paying freight job with UPS or FedEx. I tell military pilots thinking of getting out NOT to unless they have a mainline or UPS/FedEx job in the bag and even then a service career is WAY more stable
