You know what to expect as far as action in the film when Jason Statham (who's credits include GHOSTS OF MARS, THE TRANSPORTER, TRANSPORTER 2 and CRANK) lots of shot-em up and explosions. The movie is based on a true story and there lots of subplots that get wrapped into film. The pieces all fit together quite well. I am happy to announce to all of you men who are thinking about seeing the film that there are plenty of naked women....you might not want to bring your gilrfriend or wife to this one. The film ofcourse plays on all of our biggest fantasies of being able to pull of a bank robbery but this robbery causes big problems for not only the robbers themselves but National figures as well. The film says that Micheal X (who was a Malcom X wannabe in England during the early 70s) had possession of pictures of Princess Margret (The current Queen's sister) engaged in a group sex incident and Micheal had been able to avoid prosecution by blackmailing the royal family. A high level branch of law enforcement in England (similar to the usa's secret service) make arrangements to employ robbers to rob the bank so they can get the pictures but during the heist the robbers also fall into possession of pictures taken by a local madame in London of several government officials involved in sexual relations with prostitutes as well as a payoff ledger of a local crime figure he made for records of police and goverment officals he had paid off.
Statham's character has everyone after him and further complicating his situation is that a local HAM radio operator taped his walkie talkie conversations with his lookout at the bank and the authorities broadcast the conversations to the public in hopes someone could identify them.
That's enough of the plot you need to know before seeing the film but be assured aside from a two key figures not making it in the end the film ends in a great situation and at the very end there is blurbs on the screen telling you how and where each person ended up. A MUST SEE MOVIE.
