Well, I saw the original in the theatre as a kid, and I usually don't like remakes, but tonight I watched the Adam Sandler one...
There were so many "character" actors that were in it. I guess Sandler produced it. He respected the original one and didn't try to remake it differently......Burt even ran for the tying touchdown , it was the winning TD in the first one obviously, but it showed Burt respect and the original respect.
I liked when Sandler was driving his GFs car, and talked to her on the phone and got 10 police cars to crash into him, crawled out with a beer after she said everyone is watching you on TV and you better not scratch my car.
It entertained the hell out of me.....
