The Oscars - Let The "Out Of Touch" Hollywood Hypocrites Make You Some $$$$$

Seems like every year lately, there has to be a "cause" or "theme" surrounding the Oscars in order to make Hollywood feel like they care. Lately it seems like it was geared towards the "plight" of African Americans starting with Trayvon Martin. Killed in 2012, what wins best picture in 2013?  - "12 Years A Slave" & Supporting Actress Lupita Nyong'o.....

2015 was the "Oscars So White" movement, so what wins the next year? Moonlight, Mahershala Ali - supporting actor, Viola Davis - supporting actress.....

So, now, what does that mean this year? #Time'sUp, Harvey Weinstein, #MeToo, Trump "Grab 'em by the P----" - - You guessed it, "The Empowered Woman"!

The fact that James Franco just WON a Golden Globe, and now he's not even nominated?!?!? What does that tell you? So, here's my picks, and I'll start each category with my most favorite on down to my least favorite and the current odds:

3 Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri - +120 - r@ped & murdered daughter, mother fighting the system - all that's missing is someone kicking Trump in the b@lls.....

The Shape Of Water - -140 - Mute woman with special powers, g@y dude, & sassy black woman. That's all you need to know.....

Lady Bird - +750 - Stars a woman, co-stars a woman, written & directed by a woman, involves a woman and her mother - who is also a woman. Did I mention, woman? "WOMAN"!!!!

Greta Gerwig = +650 - (woman)

Guillermo Del Toro = -325 - (Mexican, think Trump & "Build The Wall")

Jordan Peele = +2000 - (C'mon, do I have to say why?)

Daniel Kaluuya = +1500

Denzel Washington = +3000

Basically, anyone except the white dudes.....

Meryl Streep = +4500 - take "empowered woman" who probably has a few "harassment" stories chambered, who hates Trump, and gives crazy speeches. EXACTLY what this Oscars needs!!! I know she's my longshot, but I can't see them giving this to any of the other nominees. Plus, SHE'S MERYL FRIGGIN' STREEP!!!

ehhhhh, it's all straight white males.... I don't know, Willem Dafoe +350.....

Either Laurie Metcalf +375, or Mary J. Blige +1000 - - mainly because of the "empowerment" these women's characters faced in the movies they were in.....

Just happened to see ABC started the Oscar coverage at 10:00a.m. Pacific. I've watched it for about 20 minutes now, and I'm shutting it off until the actual Oscars start.....

But, if I took a shot everytime someone said "Empowerment", or "Harassment" - I'd be fall down drunk by now.....

Jesus.....

Oh, and I'm pretty sure Frances McDormand will win best actress - but -3500?!?!?!

I'm not doing that!

The Man show with Jimmy Kimmel was hysterical ,but for a guy

that hosted Girls on Trampolines,Guess whats in my pants and the ever popular Juggy Dance Squad, his holier then thou attitude, protecting the rights of women and hypocritical stance has become rather annoying.

But that was one great show.

I had best movie (Shape Of Water) & best director (Guillermo Del Toro), but even with that, I didn't even break even.....

Thought I had this nailed, but apparently "Hollywood" doesn't REALLY AUTHENTICALLY care about "Women's Empowerment" - - since someone like adulterer and BU#-RAPER Kobe Bryant can win for "Best Animated Short" or some BULL$#!T.....

I may be wrong, but once Kobe paid a boatload of money and publicly apologized to the woman and her parents, I concluded it was likely he didn't take these steps because he was innocent of rape. In my opinion, he bought his way out of this mess.
