I have always loved the western comedy......for some reason

You just made me think of this.... I probably haven't seen it since I was a kid... after a quick search of 80's western comedies I came up with it

Rustler's Rhapsody with Tom Berenger and Andy Griffith  (1985)   I just can't remember a damned thing about it, but I know I've seen it and liked it.

Going' South (1978) = WAY under-rated Jack Nicholson western-comedy also staring Mary Steenburgen (in her film debut) and featuring Christopher Lloyd,  Veronica Cartwright, DeVito and John Belushi (also in his movie debut). I mean just with Lloyd, DeVito and Belushi you KNOW it is gonna be hilarious
